Welcome Letter
On behalf of the officers and members of Gamma Epsilon Zeta, I extend our warmest greetings and hope you find valuable information here about our beloved sorority. Chartered in 1954, Gamma Epsilon Zeta holds the distinction of being the first Greek-letter organization chartered in the city of Concord, North Carolina. For over 65 years, our chapter has served as a beacon of light in Concord through impactful community service programs, our presence at Barber-Scotia College, and our scholarship initiatives, which have supported the higher education goals of countless students across Cabarrus County.
We encourage every member to engage in service that upholds our Sorority’s founding ideals of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. Gamma Epsilon Zeta is home to a diverse, multi-generational sisterhood of accomplished, well-educated women with expertise spanning Business, Medicine, Education, Government, Social Work, and many other fields. If you are a Soror seeking a chapter home, we warmly invite you to join the Gamma Epsilon Zeta family.
Once again, welcome to our website. Please visit often for updates on our programs and upcoming events!
